Support for Brain Injury & CTE
No one should face the effects of brain injury alone. Whether you’re living with traumatic brain injury (TBI), CTE, early-onset dementia, or another brain injury–related condition — or you’re a family member, carer or friend supporting someone who is — we’re here to help.
On this page you’ll find practical information, guidance and resources covering diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, benefits advice, peer support and more. Our aim is to give you clarity, confidence and connection — because support starts with understanding.

Peer Support
We provide peer support for people affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI), CTE, and other brain injury–related conditions — as well as for families, friends, and carers.
Many members of our community tell us how reassuring it is to connect with others who truly understand what they’re going through. When it feels like no one else can fully relate, peer support can make a powerful difference.
We offer a safe, confidential, and supportive space where people can share experiences, talk openly about symptoms, and feel less alone.
Our support groups currently run on Facebook and WhatsApp, alongside bi-monthly virtual meetings.

Resources & Advice
At Marshalling Brain Injuries Alliance, we believe that understanding brings hope — and that knowledge equips people to take control of their brain health. We support people affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI), CTE, and other brain injury–related conditions — as well as their families and carers — by sharing clear, evidence-based information on prevention, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options.
Brain injury can be complex and confusing, and too many people struggle to access a diagnosis or appropriate care due to gaps in awareness and understanding. That’s why we provide trusted medical and scientific resources to help you recognise symptoms, understand potential care pathways, and make informed decisions about your wellbeing.
Whether it’s navigating conversations with healthcare professionals, exploring supportive therapies, or understanding lifestyle approaches that may benefit brain health, our aim is to empower you with trusted knowledge and remind you that you are not alone on this journey.
