"A group which I would now really struggle to do without, providing a great forum to make connections and build friendships without any pressure"

Support Group Testimonial's

Kish, Greater Manchester

"I found Marshalling CTE a group run by normal people like myself who had lived the same experience with brain damage. The group is for everyone who has suffered from brain damage whatever your background. The knowledge and understanding I’ve received has been phenomenal. Fantastic support network where I’ve met many people who have and are still going through the challenges that brain damage brings every day.  You’re valued and it’s very much a family atmosphere. Lots of valuable information and also the opportunities to listen and have access to up to date products that can help manage and improve the insidious disease that is CTE. Regular organised calls where you can either just listen or explain your own experiences with these destructive diseases. It’s somewhere I’m comfortable being with people who have been on this challenging journey and I would passionately endorse this group to anyone who seeks information support and understanding of how brain damage affects your life. A really positive group of people who I’m now proud to call my friends".

Roy, Liverpool

"This group is very helpful, I only found out I had possible CTE relatively recently. As soon as I had my MRI results back I knew for certain what it was that had been affecting me most of my life. I researched as much as I could, watched all the films and resources online and even approached other charities looking for support but there wasn't a great deal available.
Thankfully Rich and Jen set this up and it is an amazing group to be a part of. We have regular calls where we discuss what's going on for us, what's helping or what challenges we are going through etc. The best thing about this group for me is that we get to speak regularly to other guys that are going through similar difficulties. It's a relief to hear that others have similar stuff going on. Added bonuses are that the website is a fantastic resource also.
Thanks to Rich and Jen for setting this up it has helped me so much already and I look forward to developing relationships further".

Steve, Cardiff

"I feel accepted and understood, no judgement, just the ability to talk and listen, vent and learn from others in the same position at a time when there is next to no support anywhere, thank you".
